  • Community Gardens open - Plots available!

    Garden plots available in our nonprofit community-supported gardens and school food production farm. Plots of all size available for all levels of experience and all ages. Get in touch to check out the gardens or fine out more. Proceeds support our nonprofit programs.

  • Plant-A-Row for the Hungry in Caroline

    Join us in collectively growing 5,000 pounds of veggies, herbs and fruit to benefit Caroline Food Pantry Clientele and our elderly population in the Town of Caroline. Bring your extra harvest to the Caroline Food Pantry on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month to the Brooktondale Community Center from 4-5pm. Don't have a garden, but would like one? No problem! We've got lots of projects to get your hands dirty at the Hatch Farm (696 Snyder Hill / Besemer Hill Rd., Ithaca) on Saturday mornings starting at 9am, Adopt-A-Plot at the Caroline Food Pantry COMMUNITY Garden (3185 Slaterville Rd. (Rt. 79E) / Speed Hill Rd., Brooktondale) for community work dates on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from 2-5pm, and you can lend a hand with the Brooktondale Inspirational Gardens at the Brooktondale Community Center (524 Valley Rd., Brooktondale) on Saturday mornings starting at 10:30am.  Support Farmers and Gardeners at the Caroline Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 10am - 2pm.  



 

Join us on the National Day of Action, Friday June 21st

United Way Day of Action is a volunteer engagement opportunity intended to advance goals in education, income and health. UWTC encourages local residents to give a few hours of their time during the National Day of Action. This is a perfect opportunity to connect local volunteers and organizations with efforts nationwide to produce meaningful differences across our communities and country.
